Higher Education Commission Chinese Government Scholarship for the year 2022-23


Every year China offered plenty of scholarships for Pakistani students/scholars for the sack of educational enhancement, Chinese scholarship council government of china offers scholarships for Pakistani national students for study and conduct research in Chinese universities under the supervision of Chinese university professors. 

On behalf of the Pakistan government, HEC is the nominating agency for these scholarships for a smooth and transparent selection process for the year 2022-23.

China Scholarship Council (CSC), represented by the Ministry of Education. The people's Republic of China is dependable for the registration and administration of the Chinese Government Scholarship program. Qualified Candidates can apply for scholarships for the Undergraduate/bachelor, master & doctoral/Ph.D. program in any field of study as per their interest.

PROGRAM OFFERED:

Chinese Government Scholarship program offers to international students, teachers, and scholars to undertake degree studies (Undergraduate, Masters & Ph.D.) inclusively preparatory years to understand Chinese language studies.


For Undergraduate Students:
Major Study (including preparatory years)= 4 to 5 years
Chinese Language (Preparatory study year)= 1 to 2 years

For Master's Students:
Major Study (including preparatory years)= 2 to 3 years
Chinese Language (Preparatory study year)= 1 to 2 years

For Doctoral Students:
Major Study (including preparatory years)= 3 to 4 years
Chinese Language (Preparatory study year)= 1 to 2 years

FINANCIAL COVERAGE:

Tuition fund: Tuition funds will be used by the host University/School it may cover education, administration, health insurance, etc.

Accommodation: Accommodation will be free of cost

Stipend: As per the policy of the Chinese government scholarship program
Undergraduate Students: CNY 2,500/Month (Min)
Master's Students: CNY 3,000/Month (Min)
Ph.D. Students: CNY 3,500/Month (Min)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  1. Candidates must have Pakistani or Azad Jammu & Kashmir nationality, Dual nationality holders are not eligible to apply for concern scholarship.
  2. Candidates should be fir medically as per the policy of the department.
  3. Candidates with an incomplete degree are not allowed to apply on the closing date of application.
  4. Candidates for undergraduate must have intermediate/FA-FSC/A-level of education are eligible to apply, and must be under the age of 25 at the time of application submission.
  5. Candidates applying for masters must have a Bachelor's degree (16 years) of education are eligible to apply, and must be under the age of 35 at the time of application submission. 
  6. Candidates for the Ph.D./Doctoral program must have a Master's Degree MS/MPhil (17/18 years) of education are eligible to apply and must be under the age of 40 at the time of application submission.
  7. Apply online by website portal for those who meet the prescribed application requirements.


HOW TO APPLY:

All the information provided by applicants in the online application and attached required documents must be complete, true, and correct.
  1. The applicant should online apply through the web portal at: HTTP://eportal.hec.gov.pk/
  2. Deposit fee RS:1000/- through deposit slip of bank in Higher Education Commission online Account No. 17427900133401 at Habib Bank Limited Shalimar Recording Company Branch H 9 Islamabad.
  3. After submitting successfully the online form at the Higher Education Commission web portal, the candidate must print the application form and sign it by the applicant himself.
  4. Submit application online format web portal website: HTTP://www.csc.edu.cn
  5. For further instruction about the Chinese Government Scholarship Program, then visit the website of the Chinese embassy or download instructions of the Chinese Government Scholarship, and after that fill and submit the form at the Chinese portal.
  6. Submission of application forms in both Higher Education Commission and Chinese Scholarship Council online portals are mandatory, in case of not submitting of application online at the portal the candidate's application will not be entertained.
  7. Copy of signed application forms of Higher Education Commission & Chinese Scholarship Council along with copies attested of all educational career documents, CNIC, Domicile, and other required certificates from HEC if applicable.
  8. Only apply online before the last date to apply, Monday, 03 January 2022.
  9. Do not submit hard copies of the application to HEC during the running application process for the scholarship.
